Exclusions from Warranty
Viet Kai provides warranty coverage only where the issue is caused by the leather product quality. The following product issues are not caused by leather quality and are therefore excluded:
Leather abrasion, scratches or cracks caused by external force
Includes cases where leather is scratched, torn or cracked by pets; by hardware from jewelry or clothing accessories rubbing during use; by ants or insects; or by impacts during production, storage and transportation.
Signs: Localized damage; the remaining leather surface is normal.
Substandard adhesive quality
Adhesive used directly between the foam layer and leather during production is of insufficient quality; chemical components in the adhesive degrade the PU coating of the leather.
Signs: Adhesive marks appear, yellowing, widespread deterioration.
Product stored in unsuitable environment
Product placed in a damp, dark or humid environment prone to moisture and evaporation, such as saunas, areas aboard boats, or environments prone to mold and discoloration.
Leather surface damaged by chemical agents
Chemical substances or liquids that damage the leather surface upon contact without timely treatment, such as coffee, milk, soft drinks, alcohol, as well as paint, lime and other materials used during decoration.
Signs: Scattered localized damage; the rest remains normal.
Substandard foam quality
Foam used during production is of insufficient quality or stitching is not secure, causing the leather to develop creases and the inner foam layer to visibly separate after a period of use.
Improper product cleaning
+ Using unsuitable leather cleaners, especially cleaning chemicals incompatible with microfiber leather. Products should be cleaned with a neutral solution (pH = 7), using a dry cloth or a wrung-out damp cloth.
+ Products not cleaned regularly are prone to yellowing and discoloration.
Signs: Scattered localized damage; the rest remains normal.
